Classic BMW Diamond Key Cover
A handmade leather cover for one of BMW’s most recognisable keys — the diamond-shaped remote head key used from 1999 to 2006.
Inspired by the original leather key cases BMW used from 1999 through 2006, the Alva Classic cover reinterprets the design using full-grain leather and solid brass.
Cut from a single piece of leather, hand-shaped around the key and secured by one solid brass pivot, the key swings freely from the cover when in use and folds neatly back inside when carried.

Designed around the original key
The cover follows the proportions of the BMW diamond key rather than disguising them.
A single brass pivot allows the key to swing naturally in and out of the leather cover, keeping the design simple, tactile and compact.
Materials that change with you
Full-grain leather
We choose leather for what happens after the first day.
Marks, colour variation and a slowly developing patina give the cover more character with use rather than less.
Solid brass
The pivot is made from solid untreated brass. Like the leather, it gradually darkens and changes with handling.
Made one at a time
Every cover is cut, moulded, edged and finished individually.
We do not pull finished covers from stock. Your piece is made after you order it, so small variations in grain, tone and finish are part of the object rather than defects.
Compatible keys

This key design was used across a number of BMW models and markets from 1999 to 2006, including vehicles from the E36, E38, E39, E46, E53 and Z3 generations.
BMW used different keys depending on year and market, so please compare your key carefully with the photographs before ordering.
